Twelve AM is a Black-owned women's footwear brand rooted in purpose, passion, and an unwavering commitment to every woman we serve. Our founder was born and raised in Oakland, California — a city known for its grit, its creativity, and its unshakeable spirit. She carried all of that with her when she made her way to Los Angeles, where she planted the seeds of what would become one of the most exciting brands in women's footwear.

Twelve AM began as a shoe boutique — a carefully curated space where women could find styles that made them feel seen and celebrated. But the vision was always bigger than a storefront. Fueled by the hustle of Los Angeles and the heart of Oakland, our founder grew the brand from the ground up, building a loyal community one pair of shoes at a time. Today, Twelve AM designs and produces its own original shoe styles — bringing our creative vision fully in-house so that every silhouette, every fit, and every detail is crafted with intention, for women of all sizes and walks of life.

Our signature luxury slippers started it all — and they remain a beloved staple. But our collections have grown to include boots designed to fit larger calves beautifully, everyday shoes built for diverse foot shapes, and occasion styles made for every celebration life brings. Sizing issues are rare at Twelve AM because inclusivity is engineered into every shoe before it ever reaches your hands.

Then came the moments that confirmed what our community already knew. Being named to Oprah's Favorite Things placed Twelve AM in living rooms and gift guides across the country — a distinction earned by only the most exceptional brands. A feature on Good Morning America introduced us to millions more, cementing our place as a brand worthy of national recognition. We are proud of those milestones — and we are just getting started.

But building a brand was never the whole vision. No matter how far the journey has taken her, our founder has never forgotten where she comes from. That is why Twelve AM proudly invests a portion of its revenue into Passionate and Prepared — our nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to Oakland, California. The city that raised her. The city that shaped her drive, her values, and her belief that every person deserves a real opportunity.
